Silicone Dripping Co-Molding Process
Silicone Dripping Co-Injection Molding allows for the production of silicone patterns with complex designs and shapes. It requires a meticulous and precise manufacturing process.
The liquid silicone rubber material is subjected to vacuum degassing, effectively removing any air trapped within the material. Subsequently, the required pigments are added to the material.
Based on the product’s design, programming and configuring the dispensing machine involves adjusting the amount of silicone material, the dripping speed, and the coverage area to ensure the accuracy and consistency of each product.
The machine carefully dispenses liquid silicone onto the mold according to the settings, thereby creating the desired shapes.
After the liquid silicone is evenly distributed within the mold, the mold is heated to cure the liquid silicone and create the shape of the mold.
Place solid silicone into another mold, and then insert both molds into a mold cavity for compression molding.
The mold is cooled to solidify the materials and maintain the desired shape. Cooling times can vary depending on the complexity of the mold design.
Once the molded parts have sufficiently cooled and solidified, the mold is opened, and the finished silicone product is carefully removed.
